New, genuine, original Apple 5600mAh battery for all black models of 13" MacBooks but without the black outer faceplate. If you are replacing an existing failed battery then this is an ideal opportunity to grab a new battery far cheaper then a regular new unit. Simply peel off the faceplate from your old battery and affix to the new one. The faceplates are stuck on with strong double sided tape and it is advisable to warm the surface with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive tape before removing. Peel off the faceplate gently and slowly. If you pull too hard or bend the faceplate too far, it may snap. DO NOT us a heat gun or any other strong heat source near the battery.
The battery is supplied with new double sided tape.
